The Muswellbrook Cats was estabilished in 1988 as a Senior AFL club, with its men's team playing in the Newcastle Football League until 1993. The team dissolved but reformed in 2003, joining the Tamworth Football League. In the last 20 years we have a lot of growth and change in the club. Currently the club has both senior male and female teams in the Hunter Central Coast AFL Competition, as well as a healthy Auskick program facilitated by dedicated volunteers. The Cats are looking to develop both junior male and female players, to hopefully field our own Junior Cats teams again soon.

Our AFL Club offers an inclusive experience for all members. If you would like to be involved, either as a player, a spectator, on game days or as a sponsor, we would love to hear from you. Our Club provides a comprehensive program of events over the season with an emphasis on inclusion, healthy competition and fun while getting/keeping fit!
