The Cat's travel down to Tulkaba Park at Teralba to take on Lake Macquarie at 2pm this Saturday.
Coming of 2 losses the boy's are keen for another tough game and this week will be just that. Training this week has been strong and this weekends game will need to harness that momentum. After dropping back from the Black Diamond Cup, Lake Macquarie have only lost to undefeated Terrigal-Avoca so far this year and will a tough opponent this weekend. The half-back line has been strengthened this weekend to provide some run and rebound attack. The boy's are looking to get back to playing the way we want to play, using the corridors, hitting those 35m kicks and playing fast footy between the arc's.
Player in Focus - Michael Duck
Duck is a major part on and off the field for the Cats, playing on the wing and being the clubs Treasurer. Duck has added some aggression to his game of recent times sparking the boys when the team needs a lift. He enjoys playing for and against Lake Macquarie after he filled in last year for them showing a few of our boys how to go and win the footy. Expect a big game from him this weekend running with speed along the wide wings of Tulkaba Park and feeding the ball inside 50.
