The Cat's travel down to Tulkaba Park at Teralba to take on Lake Macquarie at 12pm this Saturday.
Lake Macquarie will be coming out strong off the back of a win over West Newcastle-Wallsend and on the lookout for their third win of the season. Despite a few of our more experienced players unavailable this week, I still think we have a great opportunity to be competitive and continue to improve. Aims this week will be stringing together some strong plays, moving the ball confidently into our 50 and keeping it there are long as possible.
Player in Focus - Nichola Benkovic
This is Nichola's first game back after a big camping adventure and we've switched things up a little and have her playing in fullback. Just to keep her on her toes though she is on notice for a spot of rucking and even a crack up in the forwards if (WHEN!!!) we get the ball up there for longer periods of time. I'm looking forward to seeing her return the field, and am grateful for the flexibility of all our players to allow me to still move them around positions while we find our fit with an ever changing player base.
